Our Brightwater Vineyards 2014 Lord Rutherford Pinot Noir has just been awarded a Gold Medal at the Royal Easter Wine Show.

We were invited to show our Brightwater Vineyards wines to the 90 guests in an on-board tasting on Saturday 23 January.
The passengers all loved our wines and were very enthusiastic. Bottles were purchased and Brightwater Vineyards wines were served with the gourmet dinner that evening.
Widely considered as the premier awards event in the New Zealand Wine Calendar, we went into the Air New Zealand Wine Awards Dinner, already the proud winners of two gold medals – one for our Nelson Pinot Noir 2014 and one for our Nelson Pinot Gris 2015. We left as winners of the coveted Champion Pinot Noir Trophy.
